Barossa Taxi ("we", "us", "our") operates from 204A Murray St, Tanunda SA 5352. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website at barossataxi.net.au and through our taxi services.
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, and pick-up/drop-off details when you contact us or submit a booking request. We also collect usage data about how the site is used, through the analytics and advertising tools described below.
Our website uses three third-party tools. None of them are used to sell your information.
Google Analytics 4. Records page views, how far down a page you scroll, which sections you see, and clicks on our phone, email and booking buttons, along with interactions with the booking form (starting it, submitting it, and any errors). We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Google Analytics. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Microsoft Clarity. Records anonymised session replays and heatmaps — this includes your mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you view — so we can see where visitors get stuck or confused. Clarity also receives a signal when you click to call us, click to email us, or complete a booking request. Microsoft's handling of this data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Google Ads conversion tracking. When you arrive from one of our Google ads, this records that a booking request was submitted or a phone number was clicked, so we can tell which ads lead to real enquiries. It uses cookies set by Google.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to book a taxi with us by phone or through the booking form.
We use your personal information to confirm and fulfil taxi bookings, contact you regarding your booking, and respond to enquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Booking records are retained for a period necessary to fulfil legal and business obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
